Louise began her Veterinary journey by studying Animal Health part time whilst working at various Veterinary practices over 10 years, starting off as a receptionist and eventually working with the animals in the hospital, alongside the vets and nurses. She gained invaluable experience working with many different species including marine mammals, as she worked at uShaka Marine World for a time as well. Louise qualified as an Animal Health Technician in 2014, but to be a Veterinary Nurse was something she always dreamed of and was able to complete her qualification at Onderstepoort (Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria) in 2017. Louise has a keen interest in critical care patients, including nursing Parvo puppies, which requires time, patience and plenty of TLC. Nursing is a part of who Louise is, and there is nothing more rewarding to her, than a happy recovering patient.
